One last Christmas hurrah... and Happy New Year!

Okay, Daniel is thrilled that he finally knows all the words to Jingle Bells, so I'm going to post it up here for him! video

I loved watching his eyes as he sang with such determination. Hanna just sat back and giggled like any big sister would! Oh, and if you'll notice, this is what his crazy hair looks like at the end of the day when we spike it for school!

Our neighborhood is bursting with festivity as our neighbors around us are shooting off fireworks. I suppose this means we'll have a yard full of rocket tops to pick up again, just as we did for 4th of July. Maybe it will give the kids something to do in the morning as John and I do our final loading of the camper!

I've come to the conclusion once again not to resolve to do anything next year special. Every year I try to promise that I'll lose weight, become more organized, and save money. Every year, I seem to fail miserably. So, instead, I'll just say I'll try to be a better steward of my resources, and see how that goes!

Oh, that is so precious! I love when he sort of was like a broken record and you had to move him along......

You are better at this blogging thing than am I, don't think I'd know how to add a video.......don't encourage me, either!

Love and hugs,

Kim

Hi Suzanne. I just got caught up on the Christmas posts. We've been busy! I'm glad to hear you guys had a nice holiday. Reading your blogs makes me miss OP even more! Wish I could be there to experience these things with you guys!

Miss you!
Tarren

p.s. Was Hanna's gift delivered in time?

Hi Tarren! Yes, her gift was delivered on time, and I got it wrapped for you. It's beautiful, and Hanna can't wait to wear the outfit. When she does, I'll be sure to post it, as well as send you a picture of her in it.

I would imagine you definitely had a "white Christmas". Hanna wants to see snow so badly. Poor thing! Her parents can't stand cold, and have NO DESIRE to go where it's that cold! I promised her one day, she and I, and probably Daniel too, will make a trip up to Morton's Grove to visit you, when there's snow!

I wish you were here too! We miss you and love you!

Hi Kim!

I love watching Daniel sing. He was one song that he sings, "Mommy's soup surprise" that is just the funniest, but it's so long. He's very good at singing, and I think he will be very talented as he grows up.

Posting a video is done the same way you post a picture, it's the "icon" that is a strip of film, rather than a photo. My camera takes video, although not the best. I just download it, and then upload it.
